Our Vernon faculty & staff are giving our students their all and then some. Let's show them our appreciation by providing treats for them as much as possible throughout the year. If you can't make a donation but want to drop off prepared or homemade treats, that's welcome too! Contact vernonpta@gmail.com to arrange.

Fun for the owls
annual jog-a-thon/ Obstacle course
In the fall our students raise pledges and flock to the field to run their hearts out, or make their way through an obstacle course outdoors on school grounds. Either way we see these kids give it their all to raise money for their school, showing the same beautiful Vernon Owl-spirit every year: students fall back to encourage a friend; an 8th grader burns out a pair of sneakers trying one last time to break their record; sweaty kids congregate in the garden to enjoy a cold treat as a reward. It’s truly a delight to witness!

2024 VERNON PTA RAISE CRAZE FUNDRAISER
Raise Craze is an online platform enabling participants to set up secure, custom websites where they request donations via email, text, and social. During the fundraiser, participants pay it forward by completing Acts of Kindness for others. A great way to learn the value of gratitude. Spend time serving not selling!
We want to continue to make our school a better place by providing helpful and enriching benefits to our students & families, but that takes some extra money! We’ve chosen Raise Craze to help with these needs because it keeps kindness and inclusivity at the center, while allowing our school to keep 90% PLUS!
This year’s event will begin February 14th and go through April 14th, 2023
MABEL’S LABLES
We found these great customizable labels while discussing the ways in which we can make sure our lost & found doesn’t fill up, and your kid’s items don’t get donated over time.
It turns out, Mabel’s Labels not only makes these awesome labels, but that they’ll do a donation of proceeds to our school for every purchase. I meant you can’t go wrong!
If you’re not familiar with Mabel’s Labels, they make personalized, durable, waterproof labels. They are great for everything from shoes, to clothing, water bottles and backpacks!
